FMALC Presents: Isolation Movies...Together
We are all tired of isolating - No promises our company will be better, but it's worth a shot!
For some of us, isolation is the best choice for ensuring our health - especially those who may be at high risk. For others, the detriment to our mental health through isolation may be worth weighing the potentially heightened risk of being around others.
We at the FMALC have been weighing those options ourselves in light of COVID-19. In the end, we feel our various lifestyles are about being ourselves, and utilizing our freedom of choice - and so should the option of choosing what is right for you.
We are opening our doors to anyone who would like to attend another movie night with us - and the theme of the night is...you guessed it - Isolation! I'm sure you are all expecting Cast Away, hence why we didn't pick it -
There will be free popcorn, snacks, and bottled water available - but feel free to bring any snacks or (non-alcoholic) drinks you would like. Also free nitrile gloves and hand sanitizer are available...I just wouldn't recommend eating either one.
Couch seating is open for those who are germ-sharers with partners/household members, otherwise single chairs are available for all you loners (social distance is expected and encouraged, but again that is your choice to make). Attending a movie night may or may not be within your own personal risk profile, and that is perfectly fine! We want everyone to make the healthiest (whether that be physical or mental health) choices for themselves.
