A Note on COVID-19

I want to take a moment to express that as guests and facilitators of the FMALC, your health and safety is of  utmost importance to us. Continuing to share with you what is happening here at the center in response to this changing situation is the best way we can help keep our respective communities informed and safe. Please see below for the FMALC COVID-19 guidelines.

If we all work together, it is my goal keep the FMALC available for those groups that call this place home. If you are concerned about any risks to yourself or your family, please use your own discretion on the activities you participate in or the places you frequent. The health of our members will always come first!

Sincerely,

Missy

To our Attendees -

FMALC will remain available for groups and classes. We have taken extra precautions to raise the bar on maintaining a clean and safe environment for all, such as:

  • All surfaces sanitized  before and after every event.
  • Have both hand sanitizer and surgical grade soap available for guests to use.
  • Eliminate community-use classroom items, such as pens that may have been handled by others (please bring your own pen if you would like to take notes).

    To our Hosts -

For the health and safety of all groups that use our facility, we want to be flexible to your needs during this time. If you wish to cancel any event you have scheduled on short notice due to the current situation, this will not count against you as per the Host Agreement.

    ADDITIONAL HOST GUIDELINES:

    • Keep class size at a safe number based on the ND Smart Restart plan.

    • Use provided medical-grade germicidal cleaner both before and after *every* event. This includes floors, seating/tables, writing implements, and any high-contact areas. Check-in tablets must be wiped down after every use.

    • Please remember - no one should feel obligated to hug! Let's practice getting explicit consent any time we get close to, or touch another. The old adage of "Consent yesterday does not imply consent today" should definitely ring true during times such as these.

    • If you, or an attendee is found to be positive for COVID-19, please notify the FMALC immediately.
