Many local businesses have been impacted during this trying time. This is certainly the case for places like FMALC, where the basis of our center is to facilitate support groups and classes, and to provide a sense of Community to those who need it.
It is a balance that everyone must decide for themselves - weighing the safety of physical health at the expense of isolation, or the selective process of choosing what community support programs to participate in to mitigate the impact to our mental health.
We still want to keep this space available to those who need it, to provide that sense of belonging and aid our members who choose the importance in maintaining those connections for their mental wellbeing.
